12 inch HAF Fans

I bought two of the 12 inch HAF fans for circulation in my greenhouse, and they appear to be pretty heavy duty for the price point, move LOTS of air and came with easily-understood instructions. The mounting hardware and pedestal that came with it are also heavy duty, but I found that the u-bolts were not the right width and were not threaded quite far enough down the shank to mount the pedestal to my 1-5/8 inch OD top rail lateral braces (pedestal base is about 3/8 inch thick). This could have very well been due to a quirk of my amateur engineering, so no points off from me.
