If you are seeking a screw that could be used to connect roll-up tubing together, consider a Pan Head Screw instead of a Hex Head drive screw, as Pan Head screws are lower profile.

These screws are much higher quality than what I could find at hardware or local big box stores. We went through 50 pounds of 1.5” screws on 5 tunnels and needed more. We got some from Lowe’s and our local Ace. We ended up ordering more from tunnel vision and not using the others. They just didn’t compare with these.
Recently we erected eight 60ft long hoop houses, making extensive use of Tunnel Vision's high quality products, not the least of which is the small-but-mighty galvanized tek screw. I am not sure how many pounds we used, but it feels like we should list the weight in tons (obviously an exaggeration!). We misjudged what we needed and ran out, so we went to a local big box store to get more. We found we preferred the Tunnel Vision tek screws, especially since they were galvanized. They worked well!
